Ready to raft with us? Here's what you will need and what we supply!
One rule of thumb while rafting with us; you will be getting wet! This rule in mind, pack an extra set of clothes, bring a plastic bag for wet clothing, and a towel to dry off with after your white water adventure. Cooler weather means cold water, so here is how we like to plan to gear up here at Mahoosuc Outdoors.
Spring/Late Summer Gear
Cold water means adventurers will need warmer gear than summer rafting.
Here's what we supply on our end: Personal floatation device Helmets Wetsuit (if needed) Paddle jacket (if needed) Inflatable kayaks, rafts or river tubes Shuttle service to put-in spot and back* Adventurers wear or bring: Lightweight wool cap or hat Polyester fleece or wool top Water shoes (closed toe and heel - sneakers are fine!) Dry clothes Towel (optional) Sunscreen Bug repellant A picnic lunch and beverages (no glass) for Unguided Trips |
