Payment and Cancellation Policies
All of our policies are designed to ensure the quality of stay and adventure for all of our guests and are subject to change without notice.
Outdoor Adventures check-in time is your scheduled time to arrive.
Deposits:
A $50 lodging deposit is required to confirm your lodging reservation. Any changes made to your reservation must be made no later than 72 hours prior to your scheduled arrival, as you will be financially responsible for the entire amount due.
All Outdoor Adventures (shuttling, boat rentals, and more) require a non-refundable 25% deposit at the time of booking. Any changes made to your reservation must be made no later than 72 hours prior to your scheduled arrival, as you will be financially responsible for the entire amount due. If you have any questions when reserving a trip online, please make sure to call us so we may answer those questions to ensure the trip is the best fit for your experience and expectations.
For all of our Lodging and Outdoor Adventures (shuttling, boat rentals, etc.) our acceptance of your reservation is made with the understanding you will be responsible for the entire amount as reserved.
We understand that life, weather, and ‘acts of god’ can always throw you a curve.
Cancellations:
Deposits for Lodging and Outdoor Adventures and rentals (shuttling, boat rentals, etc) are nonrefundable. You will be charged 100% of your reserved Lodging and/or Outdoor Adventure, regardless of any cancellations made less than 72 hours of your reserved lodging and/or adventure date. There will be NO exceptions to this policy. We encourage you to consider trip travel insurance which may protect you in the event you have to cancel your trip.
Our Outdoor Adventures will take place in rain, sleet, snow, and even sunshine! This is New England, and the famous adage is true “If you don’t like the weather, wait a few minutes”.
On the rarest occasion, due to safety concerns, we reserve the right to alter the departure time, place, river, or to cancel any trip. Of course we shall refund the full amount already paid to Mahoosuc Outdoors only for any trip canceled by Mahoosuc Outdoors, and Mahoosuc Outdoors shall not be liable for any other costs incurred by trip members.
Payment:
We accept credit cards, cash, and checks.
Any changes to credit card deposits will be charged a nonrefundable $25. service fee.
Groups of 6 or more: Group organizers are responsible for collecting all payments and submitting them on one check or credit card payment.
If booking is made inside of 3 days, full nonrefundable payment will be due at time of booking.
